Eagle Lake Winter Riders Snowmobile Club
The Eagle Lake Winter Riders Snowmobile Club is a member of the Maine Snowmobile Association (MSA). When you join the Eagle Lake Winter Riders snowmobile club, you can choose to automatically become a member of the MSA. Membership runs from October 1 to September 30 each year.
When you choose to join the MSA, part of your membership fee goes directly to the Eagle Lake Winter Riders Snowmobile Club to help pay for obtaining landowner permission for access, trail maintenance during the off-season, signing trails, grooming trails during the winter, and maintaining grooming equipment.
The other portion of your membership fee goes to MSA, the organization that represents snowmobiling interests before the State Legislature, Maine's congressional delegation, and the media. MSA works for legislation that enhances and promotes snowmobiling in Maine .
When you join our Club and sign up for MSA at the same time, you will receive an Eagle Lake Winter Riders membership card and club decal, and an MSA membership card. MSA membership includes $2,000 AD&D insurance ($2 for each additional dependent insurance requested). You will also receive "The Maine Snowmobiler," a newspaper published monthly, September through May, by MSA.
If you're already a member of another club, but would like to support the maintenance of the Eagle Lake trails, you can by joining our club as an Individual member without the MSA option, or by simply making a donation. Select the membership option below that best meets your needs.
Pot of GOLD
When you become a member of the Eagle Lake Winter Riders snowmobile club, you become eligible to participate in our Pot of Gold drawings.
How does it work?
When people or businesses become members of the club, they are assigned a member number. That number is then noted on a token that is placed in a 'pot' with all other member tokens. At each club meeting, one token will be drawn. That winner will receive $25 cash, the winner must be present to win. If the winner is not present, the money for that month will roll over to the next month's drawing making that winner eligible for $50!! If the winner isn't present, the money will keep rolling over to the next month's drawing until a winner is drawn that is present at the time of the drawing.
